HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOO. the holidays just passed and now the weekends are here. i am supposed to be on hiatus seeing that the exams are like a month and a half away and i still have so much work to do but i dont really see the point of hiatuses. it is actually more stressful when i dont have a outlet to express myself. it was killing me to not blog for the past week so heres a recap.
TUESDAYNATIONAL DAY CELEBRATIONS. went to school early. earlier than 7am, which is something i havent done at all this year. sat with astrid in the concourse and laughed at the weirdly dressed. during assembly we had to sing those national day songs and every one got a cheapo flag. our class was like the most enthu ever, waving our flags to the same beat. after assembly we went up to the gallery of the secondary hall to watch the celebrations. sang all those patriotic songs very loudly. our class was seriously the most enthusiatic. the singing was pretty much the highlight, the rest of the performances were boring. i was suppose to go brunch with astrid but she had to go for some briefing thing so i missed her. instead, i went to vanesa's house and played fatal frame, then we met shannen and went to town where me met up with seeyue. the whole of orchard road was like RED AND WHITE. everyone was there. hung around town, ate, talked. came home early, at like 5.
WEDNESDAYI AM PROUD TO SAY THAT I AM PROUD TO BE SINGAPOREAN. haha. i woke up at 11, stoned on the bed for half an hour before i realised that there was no one else at home. mooched about the house watching tv and eating my breakfast which consists of chocolates which i found in the fridge. i was too lazy to cook. fell asleep again on sofa. woke up, family back, did art, study some tingxie and history. watched the national day parade. i was trying to spot joanna marching but i didnt manage to. told mom i was going out the on thursday, she went berserk, said i couldnt go but i did anyway. she was at work so she cant stop me. slept super early.
THURSDAYwent out with a certain CHERYL today. cheryl lim to be exact. its been a month since i last saw her. hardly feels it. time flies. walked, ate, talked. bumped into my squash teacher at ngee ann city. lipins chinese teacher. thank goodness i wasnt doing anything illegal that she knew off. hehhh. i am starting to sound mysterious like charlie dearest. pigged out at cafe cartel. ribs were seriously tops. we didnt do much but the whole afternoon seemed to have FLOWN BY. reached home at 7:30. mom threw a fit. said i couldnt go out anymore til i dunno when. just as well, i dont plan to go anywhere else cos i need to study. excapt for hannahs party, i havent told mom yet. i will be good this week and tell her next wednesday:))) if i really do get to go, wil and i are going as MICKEY AND MINNIE. AHAHAHA. still havent decided what to wear yet.
TODAYschool again. they might as well give us another day off. wil said raffles had friday off because earlier this year, every school was given the power to call one day off in lieu of polling day. it was the week with vesak day holiday on friday and mrs chong said ms kon wanted to set the holiday on thursday so we will have along week end but the MOE didnt approve because they said it was too long a holiday but then HOW COME RAFFLES CAN. wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday, sunday. FIVE DAYS. sheesh. did my camp video. really starting to make progress. i accidentally made my clips too short so i was busy trying to lenghten them before the bell rang but i couldnt. i will continue next thursday. hehe. the rest of the day was just boring. after school charlie and i stayed back for a while to try and complete the camp vidoe but got chased out by ms tok because she had infocom club. went kap with charlie and denise. ate, studied life science, went home, slept, woke up, ate, blogged. haha. too lazy to type out everything.
lord please let the next month and a half pass as quickly as the holidays always do. thank you for everything you have already given me like the past holidays. ameni will i will i will I WILL study.
